Jeremy was more confident. But there was no need to expose her. If this new thief was any good, he wouldn’t need light, he would have waited long enough for his eyes to adjust to the dark. He didn’t actually dare to enter the heart of that area. Which brings up a good point: A tolerance for hard spirits that had reached the point that he could drink his friends so far under the table that they’d be passed out cold while he’d still be mostly sober.

I really enjoyed seeing other Malorys from the previous books. He steers clear of all the hungry ladies because he has no intention of marrying, ever, that is until he meets This is one of my most favorite books in the Malory series. Frustration soon sets in when Danny lives up to her name and appears as attracted to him and ready to succumb to his seductive efforts as any other bloak on the street.
